This book discusses the mode of actions of the fermented wheat germ extract, subject of many studies in vitro on different cell lines, in vivo in animals and the human clinical trials. These studies showed that the fermented wheat germ extract had powerful anti-cancer and immunomodulatory effects.

The latest publication on Avemar was published at the Nutritional Journal. According to the study, the intensified preclinical and clinical research resulting in the characterization of several mechanisms of action, provided evidence for potential versatile clinical activity.

David L. Katz M.D., the internationally recognized leader in integrative medicine and patient-centered care, included Avemar in his 'Super 6' list for cancer prevention. There are, of course, innumerable reports about supplements used in cancer prevention, but only a few of them is supported by a strong scientific background.

Avemar gained much attention in Europe when the latest research study was published in the Journal of Experimental Clinical Cancer Research. As recent data suggested antiproliferative, antimetastatic and immunological effects, researchers from the Department Internal Medicine, Oncology/Hematology and Hemostaseology, at University of Halle, investigated FWGE.

Avemar was introduced in Indonesia at the symposium for the Association of Hematologist and Medical Oncologists, and the Association of Oncology Gynecologist organised by PT LAPI Laboratories in 2011.

Avemar was presented at the largest annual nursing conference and exhibition, the Royal College of Nursing Exhibition, in Liverpool on April 10-13th 2011.
